What does the Attendance Calculator tell you?

This calculator answers the practical questions students usually have: What is my current attendance?, How many classes must I attend to reach 75%?, and How many classes can I miss without dropping below my target?

Attendance % = (Classes Attended ÷ Classes Conducted) × 100

Future Attendance % = (Current Attended + Future Attended) ÷ (Current Conducted + Future Classes) × 100

Example: reaching 75% attendance

If you have attended 72 out of 100 classes, your current attendance is 72%. To reach 75%, you need to attend the next 12 consecutive classes:

(72 + 12) ÷ (100 + 12) × 100 = 75%.

Important: Attendance requirements vary by college, university, course and institution. Always follow your institution's official attendance rules.

STUDENT GUIDE

Attendance planning guide

If your current attendance is below your target, attending additional classes increases the percentage gradually. The number of classes required depends on both your current attended classes and total classes conducted.

How many classes can I miss?

To find the maximum number of future classes you can miss while staying at or above a target, compare your current attended classes with the target percentage after adding the potential missed classes to total conducted classes.

Can I reach 75% attendance?

Usually yes if enough future classes remain, but the answer depends on your current attendance and how many classes your institution will conduct in the future. Use the Future What-If tab to test a realistic schedule.
